The gym offered a great workout space. It included several cardio machines. The provided breakfast was diverse. I enjoyed the fresh fruit. It was continually restocked, WHICH i appreciated.
The dinner service felt a little impersonal. The staff did not return to clear plates promptly. The food order was initially incorrect. It required some sorting before the food arrived, OH my.

the check-in was smooth, allowing me to book dinner and breakfast at convenient times. the waitress explained our meal inclusions thoroughly. the food portions were generous and flavorful. my children slept soundly on the sofa bed (it was comfortable). our room was very clean and equipped with everything we needed.
the pool area was quite crowded. access was available to both hotel guests and the public. this made it challenging to enjoy the sauna and steam room, though i wanted to.

I found a lovely big room for us. It was also clean, a gem. we were able to use the swimming pool, a nice bonus for our romantic trip. the staff was friendly and helpful.
i noticed the room was noisy, with traffic sounds. it was slight, but it affected the otherwise peaceful atmosphere.

the hotel offered breakfast and dinner options, saving us from much driving. there was a variety of food options, a good culinary experience. the restaurant provided a warm atmosphere, perfect for romantic evenings.

the hotel has available parking for less than £8 per stay, very reasonable. it proved convenient to reach the hotel and access surrounding attractions. i found this location highly suitable for exploration.

an adequate stay with some issues
broken tvmissing fridge
the tv wasn't working in our room, so we had no entertainment. all our drinks got ruined because the room lacked a fridge. the staff mentioned fridges are only installed upon request, which feels bizarre for a 4-star hotel. for the price, i would say that lack of fridge and entertainment was very disappointing.
